About Alex

Originally from Washington DC, Alex spent summers in the Camden/Rockport area because of his photographer mother’s early involvement with the world-renowned Maine Media Workshops. Though a former Junior High School teacher, Alex originally came to real estate on a whim, and he’s flourished within the industry. Even after 20+ years in the business, he remains a refreshing anomaly: he’s the non-salesman-like salesman.

Alex lives with his wife Kate (an area native), their four children, and two dogs in a downtown historic Camden house that they all got their hands and paws dirty renovating and restoring.

An EMT ski patroller at the Camden Snowbowl and coach to his sons’ ski and lacrosse teams, Alex is entrenched in the community in meaningful ways. Indeed, Alex’s motivation as a devoted broker comes from his sense of community. Whether bumping into clients at the grocery store, on the slopes, or at local shops and galleries, he especially enjoys connecting clients with the myriad of local creative and educational offerings to help newcomers acclimatize to the Midcoast.
