Alex joined Best Chicago Properties as an agent in 2016. Since joining the firm, Alex has passionately assisted clients on a wide range of transactions. These transactions have spanned from purchases and sales of luxury high-rise condominium units with stunning panoramic views of the Chicago skyline, to acquisitions of investment properties, including those used by hosts who market their properties on platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO.
Alex earned his MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he focused on entrepreneurship. He leverages his business education to help his clients keenly analyze properties from a financial perspective to ensure that each client purchases a property that qualifies not only as a one-of-a-kind home, but also as a sound investment. During his client interactions, he employs his individual experiences in advising clients on the design, form, and function of each property under consideration. He also serves as a skilled repair person–an important but often overlooked qualification for any real estate agent.
When not serving as an agent, Alex works in the field of healthcare information technology, where he manages a talented team responsible for implementing and maintaining clinical applications used to facilitate the care of patients at a large hospital system.
In his free time, Alex enjoys traveling, cooking, and frequenting Chicago restaurants while avidly seeking out new ones. He is a zealous board game player and sports fan. Alex also enjoys managing his investment properties, which he markets on Airbnb and VRBO–a pastime he views as his passion rather than as another job, and one that allows him to leverage his many skillsets. (This, as it turns out, is among Alex’s niches in the real estate market; he has helped many clients locate and set up successful Airbnb’s in Chicago.) But Alex enjoys spending time with people–family, friends, and strangers. He is always eager to help a new client.
Alex grew up near Boston, Massachusetts, but has primarily resided in the Midwest ever since starting his first year as an undergraduate at Purdue University in 2003. He ended up in Chicago after being drawn to its dynamic energy and fast-paced feel; staying busy is what Alex does best.
