Alex Leer

I grew up in the rolling bluegrass and opulent horse farms of Paris, KY. Being surrounded by both country living and the nearby cosmopolitan lifestyle of Lexington shaped my tastes and appreciation for architecture, design and good living from a young age. As a child I was active in 4-H raising and showing sheep and that love of animals has followed me to adulthood as am now a member of the Asheville Kennel Club and raise Miniature Dachsunds.
I moved to Asheville in 2013 and knew I’d found my place. This city is the perfect combination of outdoor lifestyle and vibrant arts, food and entertainment scene. You can find me hiking the trails off the Blue Ridge Parkway, floating the French Broad River or exploring the amazing restaurants that make Asheville a food lover’s paradise.
