Alexandra is definitely one of the hardest working real estate agents you will ever find. I reached out to her through email and got a response almost instantly. We talked on the phone about what I was looking for and she got to work right away. She was constantly sending me different opportunities and was always quick to respond to any questions. For context, I ended up buying a vacant lot with Alexandra’s help. During this process she helped with expediting the county with septic permitting, she had her husband help with clearing some of the land for the surveyor, she constantly called Duke power to make sure that we wouldn’t have problems getting power to the lot, and much more. Alexandra is the best real estate agent that I have EVER worked with over the course of 30 years of buying real estate in five different states. There are three attributes that set Alexandra apart from her competitors:
1. Strong Marketing Skills (excellent use of social media, networking, quality photography, personalized marketing literature on the home, ability to create a "buzz")
2. Complete Turn Key Service - VERY UNIQUE (arrangement of any home prep repairs, home content clean out, house staging, and anything else that creates an amazing frictionless experience)
3. Excellent Team (source market comps quickly, staying on top of the process, following through, creating professional documents, sourcing other professional relationships necessary to complete the sale such as attorney, inspectors, etc.)

At the end of the day, what we remember most is the quality of experience and interactions we have when doing a deal. We moved to Asheville in 2018 and after a year and a half in our apartment I knew time time was coming to look into purchasing our own home - afterall, this city is our home now.
Some account on Instagram asked if followers had any questions about real estate. I asked my question and Deanna answered, even though she wasn't the hired "expert" by the account.
She was knowledgeable and I decided to take a chance and connect with her. I'm so incredibly glad I did.
Deanna was always available to text and chat with me (within reason of course. No texting at midnight). She was there to keep this stressful experience as easy as possible.
When we would think something was just normal for the negotiating process she would have a righteous indignation "No, they need to do this! That's ridiculous!" So that was awesome.
So professional, knows what she's doing and was totally honest with us about decisions we had to make. I trusted her when she recommended certain things (which I'm so glad I did!)
Deanna is a fantastic realtor with Mountain Star and you really need her help when looking for your home in/around Asheville.

From start to finish Rachael and her team of professionals were fantastic. From looking at different listings to finding our dream home we were treated with warmth, respect and professionalism. After we found our home and made an offer everything was explained and laid out for us so clearly and efficiently. Rachel was our agent at Mountain Star Team. We picked 4 condo's to view and by 2:00 , had picked our favorite and by 3 had made an offer. Heather and Alexandra worked hard at the sale of our home. They spent much time helping us stage the house, taking many pictures inside and outside, posting pictures and descriptions of the house and the community on line and working with other realtors to show the house to potential buyers. When the house was under contract, they worked with us and the buyer's realtor to draw up the contract. Furthermore, they helped us find workmen to help with some of the corrections that needed to be made. Heather and Alexandra kept in frequent touch with us to keep us up-to-date on the progress of the sale.

I would buy another home just to get them to sell it for me, that's how truly exceptional their service was from start to finish.
Extremely professional and personable when I first met them; they certainly did their research to make sure I was listing my home at the best competitive price, and even offered complimentary staging and photographing. It was certainly worth it, because the listing received multiple offers and went to contract within a week!
They were aggressive yet diplomatic in negotiations with the buyer, and maintained a fair price. Their communication with me was fantastic, I was constantly kept in the loop and felt well taken care of, especially while I was in the hospital for the birth of my daughter!
In the end they sold my home quickly at a price I'm happy with, and treated me with the utmost respect throughout. I would recommend them 100%.
