Alison was raised in Yorktown and attended George Mason University, where she obtained a B.S. in Marketing and Event Management/Tourism. After graduation and marrying her high school sweetheart, Josh, they relocated back here to Coastal Virginia to begin their life together. In 2021, we welcomed our son Benjamin after battling 7 years of infertility.
Alison and Josh bought their first home in 2013 (a fixer-upper Cape Cod in Hidenwood with plenty of wood paneling) and that experience lit Alison’s heart on fire for real estate. She loved the entire process: checking out listings, negotiations, picking her agent’s brain about every possible outcome, and most importantly, turning the key to her new home at the end of the process. She will never forget the rainy weather on her closing day, how musty and dusty the house was from being vacant, and even though they had no toilet paper, Alison and her husband finally had a place to call our own. That feeling…is amazing, y'all. She looks forward to having the opportunity to help you have a similar feeling of your own.
Alison is no stranger to guiding her clients through huge, life-changing decisions, having spent 10 years in the wedding and event industry before entering the real estate world in 2016. She thrives on the joy of witnessing a client seeing everything they have wanted come to fruition, building relationships, and delighting people with above-and-beyond service.
On a personal note, Alison loves a good Sunday brunch, spending time with her pups Otis and Ulysses, Hamilton: The Musical, paper planners and trying new local craft brews! She has an unhealthy obsession with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (GO PACK GO!), yellow front doors, a beautiful vintage wallpaper (DON'T TEAR IT OUT), and helping her clients find THEIR happy place, whether it be a wood-paneled palace of their own or a move-in ready residence!
