Allison Hall

Allison has spent much of her life in Iowa City. She graduated from Iowa City High School and spent the next seven years traveling and exploring the world. She worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska for six years and spent three years fishing and living on a sailboat. Allison moved back to Iowa City shortly after her first child was born as she wanted to raise her children close to family and in a city with as many opportunities as Iowa City has to offer. Allison completed her degree after her return to Iowa City, graduating from the University of Iowa with a B.F.A in painting. Allison spends time supporting the arts, cooking with friends, and hiking and kayaking with her husband, children and dogs.
