My house buying experience with Althea was non stressful, she’s by far one of the best Agents in the DMV area, she made herself available to me when needed, she kept me informed throughout the whole process. I had the pleasure of having Nicole Payton as my realtor with the hearst team and Althea Hearst check in during the process as well. They both was amazing to work with and myself and Fiance have the home we were both interested in and which is now our first house purchase. If we had any questions the team was available and answer all the questions that we both had. I would definitely refer them to my friends and family.

I purchased my first home back in 2018 and Althea was my realtor. During the entire process In my head she was also my counselor, mentor, financial advisor, and just someone I contacted almost everyday and she had no problems being that. I had no idea nor experience on how to buy a house. Althea literally took my hand and was so patient explaining everything to me and my partner to make sure we understood everything we were doing and signing. With me being a first time home buyer Althea did recommend and I was able to apply for a first time home buyer program. The home we decided to pick at the time I believe had 9 or 10 contracts on it the at the time we applied. I was so nervous that we wouldn’t get selected because 9 or 10 people had already applied prior to us. Althea didn’t seemed concerned at all, she asked us is this the one you guys really want? We told her yes! This would be perfect and well within our budget. Althea discussed with us what she thought and knew would get us in the house while applying. We agreed, Althea worked her magic! We closed with in 30 days and are currently still in that home today. We had no worries after our contract was accepted. Althea recommended an inspector and even did the walk through with the inspector with us! Buying this house and working with Althea through out the entire process was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. You will be able to tell after meeting with her or her team that this is personal for them and that they are truly dedicated and knowledgeable about what they do. Our property value has almost doubled and couldn’t be more happier. Highly recommend the entire Hearst Home Team!!

Althea and her team were amazing in every way while working with them. I first hired her to have my rental property listed, and she made the entire process so seamless that I used her for the sale of my property years later. Even with curveballs throw by the buyer and title company she was able to get us to the closing table without a hitch. I definitely recommend using her if you are a new buyer or experienced real estate owner, either way she’ll take great care of you.
