Originally from Marin County, CA, Alyssa Hammer grew up in a real estate family, so starting from a young age she saw the business from the inside out. She had the best example of what it takes to be an amazing realtor, then ultimately became one herself. Prior to that, Alyssa spent some time living on a sailboat in Tahiti, traveling the globe and immersing herself in various music scenes. She graduated Cum Laude from Hunter College with a B.A. in Media Studies and Art History, then primarily worked in the fashion industry.
Most recently, Alyssa worked for French brands Sandro and Maje helping them develop their US and Canadian retail presence, as well as with every gals favorite Brooklyn based jewelry company, Catbird. She has also had a taste of the music and restaurant industries.
Her diverse experiences account for her outside-the-box way of thinking, keen sense of style and creative eye for design.
Alyssa's passion for connecting with people and for NYC led her to the career she was meant for, real estate. Her first-hand insight as both a renter and a first-time home buyer has given her a strong love for the hunt and finding clients a home that speaks to them.
A 15-year NYC resident, Alyssa has lived in the Lower East Side, East Village, and for the last decade in Williamsburg. As an expert negotiator, she handles sales and rentals in all of NYC, but specializes in the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Williamsburg, Greenpoint, East Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy and Bushwick.
In her free time, Alyssa loves to travel the world and go on tour with her musician husband. Her interests include music, art, fashion, design, yoga, great food, trips Upstate and the ocean. She adores her Rat Terrier mix pup, Evie.
