About Amanda
Amanda Hines is a native of Greenville, NC. After living in the beautiful foothills of Virginia, the Ohio River Valley in Kentucky, and the broad flat land of Indiana, she chose to move her family back home to the Pirate Nation of Pitt County. Every place has its charm, but there is no place like home.
Amanda has personal experience purchasing new construction, single-family and townhouse homes, as well as foreclosed property. From construction delays to repairs before moving in, Amanda knows the joys and frustrations of moving to a new home. She also knows the challenges of selling in both stable markets and slow markets. She is familiar with the struggles of serving as an out of state landlord and the relief of having a trusted real estate broker to manage her property. She remembers the excitement of being a first-time homebuyer as well as the planning that goes into moving with small children in tow.
While she draws on her own experience, she is cognizant of the truth that all clients are unique, and every move is different. Her people first approach is evident in her work. She listens to her clients’ perspectives, needs, limitations, and dreams for their property. She upholds the golden rule and does her absolute best to advocate for her clients.
Amanda is both a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. With the exclusive Residential Real Estate Council Luxury Home certification, Amanda is uniquely qualified to serve the most elite clients. She is also an eXp certified Relocation expert.
Referrals are a snap with eXp. As an eXp Realtor, she is part of a world-wide network of over 86,000 agents. She is also part of several other referral groups. If you are outside her service, she is well positioned to find and vet an agent to help you meet your real estate needs.
Community service is important to Amanda. Serving others is a value her parents and church instilled in her as a child and a tradition she strives to uphold in her life. As a testament to her love for community service and leadership within the community, the governor of Kentucky bestowed Amanda with the honorable title of Kentucky Colonel. Amanda is currently serving on the Community Development committee for the Coastal Plains Association of Realtors.
Amanda graduated summa cum laude from East Carolina University. In 1994, she was a recipient of the highest honor bestowed upon a graduating senior, the University Award for outstanding service, leadership, and academics. She then completed her education with a M.Div. from Duke University.
