Just closed on our Memphis home of the last forty-two years. The house was listed, sold and closed in a little over a month by the Lott Team of Carol and Amanda Lott. They were the BEST. They had already sold our daughter’s house, for considerably over asking price, so we knew going in that they were excellent. But they exceeded even our high expectations. They visited us prior to our move, to evaluate the house. They said when you are ready to move, call us and we’ll take it from there. They did and then some. They told us what improvements to make, chose, hired and supervised all the contractors and readied the house, inside and out for showing. It went on the market on the proposed date and within three weeks we had a signed contract. They shepherded the sale through inspection, appraisal and closing with exceptional attention to detail. The closing was yesterday and we received the proceeds today. I wish I had another house to sell, so I could re-hire them. If you need to buy or sell a home, there is no better option than the Lott team. Thank you Carol and Amanda.

We bought during a wild seller’s market pre-pandemic and sold recently with a multiple offer situation. When we bought we looked at at least a dozen houses and never once got the feeling from them that we were being too picky. The house we ended up buying was listed in the morning, my wife and I noticed the new listing, and we were in the house with Amanda in about an hour or two, with an offer in that night. I’ve never waited more than a couple minutes for a response from either of them without exception and always felt informed about every step of the process. No questions I asked were too small or insignificant. They also know local businesses to contact for work your house needs during the selling process. The cost of replacing our carpet through the business they recommended was about $1000 less than we expected, and the carpet was finished the day after I initially called. Long story short, they’re both sharks.

This is my second time working with Carol and Amanda. I met them 6 years ago when a professional opportunity brought me to Memphis. I appreciated their insight into the city and I reached out to them afterwards for their help in finding the perfect house. I flew to Memphis from DC for a marathon of looking at houses and found the perfect one for me. They shepherded me through the entire process start to finish—including a four month hold up from my lender—and even after I closed helped me identify a handyman to help with some small projects. From taking beautiful photos of the condo we were selling, to listing it quickly and selling it FAST! Our experience buying our new condo was no different.
