Having grown up in the area, Amanda knows the schools in the local districts well. She attended Casa Grande High School in Petaluma and then went on to Sonoma State, where she graduated with her bachelor's degree in psychology. When she's not working, Amanda loves to take advantage of the gorgeous sunny weather to go hiking or travel with her family—which includes her husband, their 2 daughters, and their beloved French bulldog. As a former competitive swimmer, Amanda also enjoys getting in the water whenever she can.

Amanda is also very passionate about giving back to the local community, frequently raising money for organizations dedicated to helping animals in need.
