Amber helped my wife and I do something I never thought possible... we bought a house. I was renting a house at the time and one a family member had decided to move. I knew the rents were getting high and maybe, just maybe we could save money by buying. Amber listened to what we needed and what we wanted. I had some specific wants and needs as my wife did as well. She showed 3 houses. She made her point to us very clear with out saying a word. She let The houses and The prices do The talking. The third house was exactly what WE wanted. There was one problem. The location. I knew it wasn't going to get better and the price was lower than the rest. My wife passed on the house. She really didn't like the location. After 1 week there was a huge number of offers on the house. I was able to talk my wife into taking another look at it. It worked. We were in. Only one problem. Something like 18 offers. And we wanted to negotiate the closing costs. I didn't think it was going to happen, again. By my surprise Amber said they countered. We came back with a counter and they accepted! Now 2 years later we are so greatful for Amber helping us. My family and I moved from NYC to California last December. We must have interviewed and spoken with 30-40 agents before finding Amber. Immediately she stood out from the rest. The first time we spoke she was friendly, direct, knowledgeable, and funny. Not knowing anything about the area we were moving to, I had a million questions. I was referred to Amber through a colleague. We started our house hunt in June 2015 when the market was hot in terms of a seller's perspective. Let me start by saying that this is my first home... The first Real Estate agent that I talked to was not helpful at all and it was a bad experience for me. I almost stopped looking.
