About Amy

A native Texan and long-time resident of Austin, Amy Brees has witnessed the Capital City’s many changes during her two decades of real estate experience. Her roots and nostalgia for the vintage weirdness of the Austin of old, combined with her excitement and knowledge for the city’s continued growth, make her the perfect realtor for anyone looking to call Austin home. Her love for live music and Mexican food also make her a great source for local recommendations, starting with a blue margarita from Azul Tequila and an outdoor concert at the Nutty Brown Amphitheatre.
As a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and Leverage Global Partners, she has access to homes for sale all over the world.
Raised in Vernon, TX, Amy is a graduate of Baylor University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She and her husband, Chip, are avid sports fans and can be found cheering for the Westlake Chaps and Baylor Bears on weekends in the fall, and for the National Champion Baylor Basketball team in the spring.
Fueled by their love for adventure, Amy and Chip share a passion for travel, taking trips to Eastern Europe, Italy, England, the Caribbean and China. One of their favorite destinations is India, where they each serve as volunteers for The Miracle Foundation, helping to transform the lives of orphan children.
Amy & Chip couldn’t be more thankful for their community at First Baptist Church, where they were married in 1988 and raised their three children over the past thirty years. If you don’t see them on Sunday morning, it’s most likely because they’re off in San Diego, Denver or Atlanta visiting a few of their ten grandchildren.
Amy’s passion for life is infectious, and she brings that same enthusiasm to the search for her client’s dream home… But her service doesn’t stop at the closing table. Amy continues to check in with her clients long after the ‘For Sale’ sign comes down, helping them with anything from contractors, plumbers, A/C service and more. Once you’re Amy’s client, you’re a client for life!

Amy walked us through every step of the home buying process. We had so many set backs and Amy was always there to help us through them. We are so happy with our new home. Amy’s professionalism and care was amazing. So grateful we had her with us in this process.

Amy has been our realtor for four transactions. If she wasn’t the best, we wouldn’t have continued to call her. Amy is extraordinary....always anticipating our needs, quick to respond, diligent and genuinely kind.

This was the fourth house Amy Brees has sold for me. And it was the hardest, because it was an expensive condo with high homeowner's fees. She was at her absolute best for this sale. I have never seen any agent work so hard. She understood me, my concerns, and my desires for the sale. And she worked so well with me. I cannot recommend her enough. She says she is available 24/7, and she absolutely is! If anyone needs an excellent recommendation, contact me!
