About Amy
As a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Amy brings to the table over 20 years of design and marketing experience and a well-developed eye. This allows her to quickly assess how to best market a home for sale to achieve maximum market value, as well as seeing a home’s hidden potential for buyers. She is tech and social media savvy, with a strong following on Instagram and Facebook. She writes a popular, weekly newsletter highlighting open houses, market trends and local news. Being a professional graphic designer, her marketing materials are professional, including high-end and drone photography, floor plans and magazine-style brochures.
The real estate business is about buying and selling homes, but for Amy it is really about people: listening to your wants and needs, working through decisions and negotiations and finding the right solutions for you and your family. She loves her role as matchmaker! She prides herself on getting to know her clients very well, so she can truly understand their needs and wishes.
If you are considering buying, Amy would love to show you my favorite places around town, as well as any homes for sale.
If you are already here, she would be happy to come by and give you a free price analysis and easy suggestions for maximizing your house’s value.

Amy was instrumental in helping us find a new home in Westport. Despite living in Chicago in a really hot market, we were able to find a builder to purchase a home pre-construction. Given we were out of town during the building process, she was always willing to check in and help manage the situation in town. Once we got to closing, she really stepped up and helped facilitate solutions as we had some last minute issues from our lender. We would highly recommend her. She set realistic expectations, communicated appropriately and was very responsive to our questions/concerns throughout the whole process.

To describe Amy Swanson as a real estate professional in one word; magnificent. My husband and I are first-time home buyers and given our inexperience, Amy provided such valuable and beneficial guidance throughout an overwhelming and complex home buying process. Between her expertise of the real estate industry to her genuine nature and seasoned approach, we truly felt like each and every sentiment we had was heard and actioned upon. Amy is proactive during each step of the home buying process, she is dedicated and determined to not just deliver adequate results, but to deliver top results specific to each home buyer. Amy’s professionalism, sound advice, and patience came through at such vital times throughout the buying process, we could not have asked for a better person working with us on such a pivotal life milestone. We highly, highly recommend Amy to any potential buyer that wants a real estate agent that has their best interest at heart.

Truth is we all know someone in real estate.
But a friend or acquaintance is NOT who you hire to sell or buy the biggest asset of your life.
I just sold & bought a home within the space of the last 3 covid months - the hardest market for sellers/buyers I have ever seen in 40 years.
It took honesty, smarts, empathy, counseling, strategy, hand holding, punctuality, but most of all love. Amy Swanson from Raveis was all that & more.
My wife & I put her through hell and she never deflated or disappointed. To have a broker you can 100% trust to act right is immeasurable in this market. Lastly, Amy won' push you if you hesitate. And you will at times. She'll listen. She'll get to know your family & their needs. Trust me -
Call her. You'll thank me for the rest of your life.
PS - I had no prior association with Amy Swanson before I hired her to help us sell & buy a home.
