I personally worked with Andrea from “The Flamingo Team” when moving from FL to TN when we were trying to not only buy a house but also figure out where to buy, what mattered most to us, and what we could afford. I didn’t know Andrea prior to starting the process and was nervous to trust the suggestion of other complete strangers (she was recommended by others on a FB moms group) but you have to start somewhere and the recs from others felt genuine. Lemme tell you… Andrea went above and beyond for my family in more ways than I even knew were possible! First, we were looking to buy but then realized we needed to rent to get to know an area (new state and all that). She pivoted to help us find a house that fit our rental needs. When we were ready to start buying, she setup profiles for what we wanted (big dreams) AND what we needed (more affordable and realistic). She put in filters for specific neighborhoods we loved, sent HOA info so we knew our top neighborhoods wouldn’t be too restricting with rules, and even reached out personally when a house popped up that she thought checked enough boxes that she didn’t want us to miss it (she was the one who found our forever home before I did!). She also knew so much about houses that she could point out potential concerns (stair step cracking, settling, no insulation in attic, etc). The one that stood out most was we toured one house and felt a big “bang” and shake… it bothered me but I had no idea what it was and wouldn’t even know where to start looking to know if it was a thing or random. She looked into the area and found they do blasting nearby (my FL self hadnt ever heard of this!)
When we finally found “the one” but were nervous (it’s a fixer upper which we wanted but still!) she came multiple times to walk through it with us, guided us as we went through the process of offering and negotiating, gave her opinions without EVER pressuring us to do a certain thing, and had a list of people she has worked with IF I wanted them for various inspections (ex- I wanted radon, needed a foundation specialist, and was curious what it would cost to move the laundry room to a different floor in the house… she had multiple names of people she was familiar with but also said I never ever had to use her person if I didn’t want to). She asked questions during inspection that I would never have thought to ask. She negotiated in our best interests and thought to add things like “move out clean” which I didn’t know I could ask for! She was patient, kind, authentic, knowledgeable, and just an all around amazing human being who legitimately loves and thrives at what she does. She loved on my kids the whole time, never made me feel bad having to bring them along (I have 4 🤪), helped keep an eye on them so I could get “the full feel” of a house without distraction, and went from a total stranger on FB recs to someone I want to have over at our new place and share house update photos with. I seriously don’t have enough amazing words for what an asset having Andrea as our realtor was! I hope to not move again for a long time but will 1000% use her should that change and will tell any and everyone they should too, she’s seriously THAT fantastic!

She's very good at her job and staying ahead of the game and on top of everything! When I say we had a challenging case, I'm not kidding. I've been 1099 for many years and we had several hurdles to get over before purchasing our first home. Andrea was patient every step of the way. She knows just what to look for in a home, she listened to what our non-negotiables were, she's very thorough, and she moves very quickly, which we really appreciated! She knows middle TN inside and out, keeps cool and collected (even when we felt stressed at times), and was able to help us with negotiations. Ultimately, she got us into the home of our dreams! After being referred to us by one of my best friends, we weighed The Flamingo Team against several, very competent real estate professionals who I already knew.

Andrea and Amanda won us over by providing us with a vivid and detailed analysis of our market and a marketing strategy for selling our home.

After securing the job, they immediately continued with their work. Due to various factors, it soon became clear to me that we were not your “average” home sellers.

Neither of them ever skipped a beat, and worked tirelessly toward the sale. They connected us with outside resources. They even had their husbands involved in working our case.

It is clear to all in my family that not only did they go far “above and beyond” in their efforts to sell our home, but that after the fact we could hardly imagine how difficult it might have been if they had not been there for us. At every incremental step, they reassured us, sometimes to the point of figurative hand holding.

In closing, there are not enough words or “stars” to accurately rate the level of service. Even what I have already said seems like falling short. So here it is: I cannot recommend “The Flamingo Team” highly enough. If you contract with them, you are working with “top-notch” operators in their field. Business will be done adeptly, attentively, and professionally, and all the way through the end processes and distributions. When the business is complete, you might feel as if you have new friends. We met Andrea originally when we moved to Tennessee and needed to find a rental. Andrea found us one in ONE day, and we were out of state. We were looking for a rental, as my husband got transferred to Tennessee. We’ve had such a difficult time finding a place—or landlords even giving us the time of day. Being out of state, we haven’t had the time to actually go visit rentals. Andrea reached out to me after I had posted on a mutual group and could not have been more helpful. Andrea has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She was helpful and offered to drive by and even filmed homes for us while we looked for houses from a distance. We couldn’t believe she was willing to show us the 20 or more homes we asked to see in the two short days we were out from CA. She even added some more on to our trip. We so appreciated her honesty when she called us to warn us about a home that had water intrusion. Her familial knowledge about how homes are built really came in handy as we had to make a tough decision not to buy a home that was beautiful but had builder defects. My family and I were making a big move to Tennessee. We were moving for a job and knew no one here nor the area. We were connected with Andrea and I am beyond grateful for her. She provided us with accurate and helpful information about the best locations to look at for our family needs.
