Andrew Valencia

Born and raised in "America's Finest City," and having visited every part of San Diego County. This native son has the market cornered when it comes to having an intimate and personal knowledge of different neighborhoods found throughout this coveted ocean-side locale. But the customer-oriented agent also never hesitates to span out to other areas, servicing clients across Southern California. In the business for nine years, the past four years, as a team member with another luxury residential real estate brokerage, Andrew joined the #1 La Jolla luxury office.

Valencia initially discovered his calling for the industry in the mid-1980s after meeting legendary San Diego developer Corky McMillin, known for creating many of the area's master-planned communities and custom-built residences (including Valencia's childhood home). "Corky McMillin developed areas of San Diego County, including Carlsbad, Scripps Ranch and Carmel Valley, and his company went on to redevelop Liberty Station to what it is today," says Valencia. "Seeing his name in new developments and knowing he built my parent's house intrigued me at a very young age, and that stayed with me through adulthood."
