About Angela

The most valuable character trait that Angela holds dear is always having a Servant’s Heart. Her ability to connect with others has allowed her the luxury of naturally making friends and ensuring that her clients feel more like family and less like a “customer.” She started in sales and customer service at sixteen. By the time she turned twenty-three she was managing guest services and sales for Target and then Ann Taylor. She then went on to manage sales, hospitality, food, and beverage at an upscale commercial ranch in South Texas.

In 2010, she and her husband moved to Tulsa to begin the successful ownership of the Tulsa Area Mattress Firm franchise and Angela earned her Real Estate license in November of that year. For the last 3 years, Angela has been a member of Coldwell Banker’s #1 team in the state of Oklahoma.

In 2020, Angela and Christina began the Discovery Home Team. She hopes that Discovery Home Team will embody her enthusiasm for client service and her belief to always follow the Golden Rule.
The Discovery Home Team’s vision is passion about others and their experience throughout the real estate transaction process. Angela has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of the real estate industry. She believes that transparency and communication are the keys to a successful transaction. Her greatest attribute is being able to connect to others, not only through real estate, but other aspects of life.

Angela hold BAs in Business and Art from the University of Louisville. After one economics class, she was hooked into the business of people and service. Her favorite classes revolved around one simple objective, clear and honest communication.

Angela is an avid philanthropist. She was the 2017 Co-Chair of the Monarch Ball supporting DVIS (Domestic Violence Intervention Services). She is currently the Media Chair for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan) Oklahoma Affiliate. Angela was honored to be a guest speaker at the 2017 PanCan National Leadership Conference in San Diego. She also volunteers for the Hospitality House of Tulsa and served as the 2019 Gurney Tourney Co-Chair.

Angela’s success is due to the relationships that she creates, nurtures, and keeps. Angela will treat you and any referral you send to The Discovery Home Team like family.
