About Anika

After graduating with a Master of Science degree in Textile Engineering and Fashion Management from the University of Applied Sciences in NRW Germany, Anika negotiated major trade deals, margins, and sales prices with the head buyers of leading European and American department store chains. Thriving in fast-paced environments, she was responsible for garnering multi-million dollar sales deals and retail strategies, overseeing marketing campaigns while setting brand & product market positioning and pricing strategies for well-established European and American fashion brands.

Anika has strong roots in Germany and Finland, where she grew up and spent her youth. Anika emigrated to the US in 2005. Since she has relocated many times and has experienced first-hand all that it entails building a life in a new town/city/state/country. Anika's sales and marketing executive career took her in myriad directions: from Amsterdam to London, Boston to Dallas, Annapolis to (finally) New York City/CT. This whirlwind of "start/stop" has given her a unique understanding of the subtle differences in business practices, work culture, and social etiquette.

Excellent in every way. Clear, transparent, and honest through the whole process. Anika was recommended to us by a NY realtor and I could not recommend someone more highly. This was our first purchase of a property and Anika was exceptionally helpful throughout the full transaction. She of course has a wealth of knowledge of Connecticut real estate, but she also has an engineering background as an added bonus. We did not use all of the vendors she recommended, however, all of them she did recommend were excellent and professional as well. I will be recommending her to friends.

5/30/2023 - Rich J. - Seller Darien. Anika and Julie brought extensive market knowledge and tremendous skill in helping us sell our house. Her expertise and access to resources were key to driving a successful close in record time and made what could be an overwhelming process manageable. They were also extremely helpful as we managed the process while living in another state, being available to help out whenever the need emerged. Anika and Julie were such a great duo and made the homebuying process so easy for us. As first-time homebuyers, we really didn't know what to expect. In one of the hardest markets, we were able to buy a home quickly with Anika and Julie's quick thinking and guidance. They have great connections for all of our homebuying needs.
