About Anita

Anita Martin joined the LBR Team in August 2015 as Executive Assistant and moved to the Accounting Department November 2015. A native Detroiter, Anita graduated from Detroit Public Schools. A veteran property manager with more than 25 years of experience ensuring profitability and analyzing annual needs, Anita managed a team of four engaged in property management operations for residential communities. The portfolio included Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Section 8, Family and Senior Housing. She is a mentor and has trained managers in budgets and forecasting and how to optimize opportunities for innovative marketing prospects. She is an accomplished leader in training and recruiting new personnel with company policies and practices.
Anita also had experience as a construction manager for thirty single family homes under rehab in Dearborn, Michigan. She prepared cost analysis for all repairs needed to meet City of Dearborn inspection requirements and codes. Anita has extensive experience in many facets of the real estate management industry. She brings all of this to the Accounting Department and is instrumental to the satisfaction of our clients and team.
