Hello from sunny South Carolina!  I am originally from Michigan and have lived in South Carolina since 1988.  I absolutely love it here!  There is so much to see and do here from beautiful Lake Murray to our extensive arts and entertainment.  We are centrally located  in the state and only a 2 hours drive from the beach and 2 hours from the mountains. I have also lived in the Florida panhandle for 2 years before moving to the Columbia Metro area.  My husband and I previously owned a restaurant for 20 years near the Harbison area before selling it to a national pizza chain, and we currently own a shopping center also near the Harbison area.  I have 2 children who have graduated from the University of SC, one is an engineer and one that continued on to pursue her medical degree from MUSC in Charleston, SC.  I have relatives from the mountains to the coast of South Carolina and am very familiar with our beautiful state.
