About Anne

Anne grew up spending summers at her family's seasonal camp and for the past 20 years has made the Adirondacks her permanent home. "No matter where I was living in the world I always missed the Adirondacks, especially the lakes."

Anne has a BA from SUNY Brockport in Communications and International Business and a minor in Spanish. Anne started her career working outside Washington DC in Corporate Training, a job she loved but not the right location.

She is the owner and editor of LOCALadk Magazine, a successful magazine that is focused on sharing inspiring stories of the Adirondacks. This has allowed her to visit and get to know the many towns and amazing people throughout the park. As a NY State Licensed Guide Anne has had the privilege of guiding people on adventures in the park as well as around the world. In her free time, Anne enjoys kayaking, hiking, skiing, biking, photography, travel, and time with friends and family
