April Hoover

April began her real estate career in 2013, working in Park Shore. April joined John R. Wood in May, 2015 and soon after was recruited by Paula Sims. In October 2016, she became Paula's partner.

April has an intimate knowledge of the Naples luxury beachfront condo market, with specific expertise in Naples Cay. Together, April and Paula list and sell the vast majority of property in Naples Cay. In both 2017 and 2018 they've closed more than $20 Million in sales each year - - earning John R. Wood's highest level of achievement, the Diamond Circle of Excellence distinction, and ranking them #13 of all John R. Wood agents for closed sales volume.

A highly skilled negotiator, with an unparalleled attention to detail, April is in constant communication with her buyers and sellers and works tirelessly to provide a successful and pleasant real estate experience.

April attended Ball State University and earned a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College. A native of northern Indiana, April relocated to Southwest Florida in 2004 from Milton, MA, with her husband, Jim McGinn. She and Jim spend their free time with their rescue dogs Lucy and Tucker, and Vinnie, their Senegal Parrot.
