Born and raised in the Kansas City area, Arabie brings a unique blend of perspectives, having lived on both sides of the MO-KAN state line. Having grown up in the “Northland”, she has stayed within a 60-mile radius of her childhood neighborhood. Arabie has called both the suburbs of Kansas City and smaller communities her home.
Steadfastly connected to the area, she learned the value of teamwork while competing in collegiate athletics and earning her bachelor’s degree at William Jewell College, in Liberty MO. After graduating, she started her coaching career and went on to earn her master’s degree at the University of Kansas.
A servant leader and educator at heart, she coached, advised and mentored hundreds of students and a large coaching staff while spending nearly 30 years in higher education before starting her career in real estate. She is an avid sports fan, including 19 years at the helm leading sport expansion at Ottawa University. Described by a past mentor as tender-hearted and tough minded, she has been repeatedly recognized for her leadership, having earned multiple conference and national level awards/accolades as a coach and administrative leader.
You will find Arabie to have an empathetic perspective of the complexities and challenges of life transitions and is committed to listening and putting others first. With high character values she is approachable, team oriented, loyal, and is a coach at heart. With SISU and her never-quit mindset, strong work ethic and perseverance, she will help you manage complexities as they arise and help problem solve to find your way.
Arabie easily connects and helps people, with a caring, servant heart, as she carefully works to help people navigate through big decisions and challenges.
In her free time, you will generally find Arabie hanging out with family and friends and fur babies, lifting weights at her favorite gym, riding the local bike trails, playing some pickleball around town, managing her fantasy football team and following all of Kansas City’s awesome, local sports teams.
