About Ashley
Ashley Donat is the National Head of Coaching at Compass, where she leads the company’s agent development strategy across the country. In this role, she designs and oversees coaching programs and educational initiatives that help thousands of agents and teams scale their businesses, strengthen their skill sets, and navigate a fast-evolving real estate landscape. Her leadership bridges strategic planning, content development, and agent engagement, ensuring every program delivers high impact and aligns with Compass’ broader mission.
Before stepping into her national role, Ashley held several key leadership positions, including Sales Manager for Compass’ Bucktown, Northbrook, and Northwest Chicagoland offices, and Head of Agent & Team Strategic Development for the Midstates North region. Across all of her roles, Ashley’s has maintained a clear focus: driving adoption of Compass technology to improve operational efficiency and helping agents and team leaders build high-performing, sustainable businesses.
Ashley began her Compass career as the co-founder of The Bridge Team, a top-producing real estate team of more than 15 agents serving Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. It was through team leadership that she discovered her passion for agent development, creating systems and processes to help agents grow their businesses, elevate client service, and deepen connections within their spheres of influence.
Her contributions to the industry have been featured in publications such as Chicago Agent Magazine, Real Producers Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, and The Real Deal. A former educator, Ashley draws on her teaching background to deliver impactful, engaging training experiences that resonate with both new and seasoned agents.
