Ashley Russell is the Owner and Business & Finance Manager of Southerlyn Homes, an award-winning Tampa custom home builder specializing in luxury waterfront residences, infill development, and one-of-a-kind custom homes throughout the Tampa Bay area. As both a builder and REALTOR®, Ashley offers clients a unique perspective that extends far beyond a traditional real estate transaction.
In addition to leading Southerlyn Homes, Ashley is a REALTOR® with Century 21 LIST with BEGGINS, where she represents buyers, sellers, investors, and new construction clients throughout Tampa Bay. Her experience spans luxury home sales, custom home design, land acquisition, residential development, construction budgeting, and high-value real estate transactions.
Ashley oversees every aspect of the development and building process—from site selection and feasibility analysis to budgeting, design, construction, and closing. Whether helping a family purchase a homesite, build a custom home, sell a luxury property, or evaluate an investment opportunity, she provides clients with the insight and guidance that come from being actively involved in both real estate and construction every day.
Before founding Southerlyn Homes, Ashley spent more than a decade in corporate leadership within the financial services industry, serving as an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and previously as a Senior Vice President at Citi Private Bank. Her background in finance, negotiation, operations, and project management enables her to help clients confidently navigate complex financial and real estate decisions.
Ashley holds an International MBA in International Business and Spanish from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in International Marketing and Spanish from The University of Alabama.

Ashley lives in South Tampa with her husband, Brett, co-owner of Southerlyn Homes, and their four children. Together, they are passionate about creating exceptional homes and helping families put down roots in the communities they love.
