Aubrey Shaw

Aubrey was born in the mountains of Colorado and moved to Texas with her mom and sister when she was five years old. She grew up in Houston, put herself through college, and graduated from UofH with a BS in Psychology with highest honors. Immediately upon graduating, she became an elementary school teacher.

Aubrey and her husband moved to Austin in 2006 while she was still teaching. The next year, while expecting her first child, she got her real estate license and made the career change to being a full-time Realtor in 2008.

Aubrey now lives with her husband, three wonderful kids, and one chubby little dog in her Spicewood home on the Pedernales River. She has traveled the U.S. for a year and a half in an RV with her family, touring several of our nation's National Parks and cities. She enjoys yoga, running, reading, crocheting, travel, and the many events Austin hosts!

Aubrey’s areas of expertise are South and West Austin, including "The Texas Hill Country." She focuses on gathering a detailed understanding of what her clients are wanting, communicating clearly with all parties, and closing the transaction in the best terms possible for her clients. All of her listings include a staging consultation, recommended service providers to help with make ready, and professional photos. Open houses, maximum internet marketing, prompt follow up with buyers and their agents, and availability to her clients at all times is a priority! As a former educator, Aubrey leans naturally toward not just relaying information but educating everyone she works with throughout the process.
