My name is Audrey Bellows - I'm a mother of three boys and one girl, a wife to one incredible USAF veteran, and a friend to many.
Real Estate is my calling. I can't explain it -- but you know when you just inexplicably click with someone and you think to yourself: "I've known this person FOREVER"? That's me with Real Estate.
I've always loved people -- I remember when my parents told me not to talk to strangers -- to young Audrey, that was just an invitation to find strangers and, of course, talk to them. It may have driven my parents crazy in the 80's (ok, 90's and 2000's, too), but for me, it was literally LIFE.
I got to know a myriad of people, learn their stories, and in some cases, be a part of their journey. It's truly a magical thing when a mind is opened to new people, new experiences, and new beginnings.
To those that were a part of my wide circle, it didn't come as a surprise when I became a High School Teacher - this was like the communication battleground to many, but it's where I knew I was needed - at least for five years. When my tutoring with the Army Recruits brought me to Alaskan for a short, 3 day tour (to be followed by an incredible skydiving experience with their Golden Knight team), I knew I was HOME.
When I tell people that Alaska called me, they don't fully believe what I'm conveying - but, I'm telling you, it's TRUE! She didn't say anything, though -- but she did call and I listened.
After "speaking" with Alaska for the first time, my family and I moved up 6 weeks later. With a desire to fully immerse myself in the community, I obtained my Real Estate license and started to fully represent sellers and later added buyers. I gained popularity rather quickly as my name became synonymous with going above and beyond (please visit my website if you’d like to read them). Long story short I became so popular, that I needed to leave my career in Education and serve full time as a REALTOR®; a change I have undeniably embraced.
Do I have many hours invested in education: both acquisition and application? Yes. In fact, I've gone as far as progressing half way through a PhD program. Can I apply this knowledge out side of the school system? Absolutely - that's the most exciting application of all! LIFE!
