Austin has always had a passion for urban development and major metropolitan cities. A graduate of Cornell University, College of Architecture, Art and Planning in Ithaca, NY, he studied redevelopment projects abroad and received a B.S. in Urban & Regional Studies. He was born in the city, spent his youth in Okemos and Troy, and attended Birmingham Seaholm H.S. Austin bought his first condominium in Midtown in 2006 before it was chic, later moved to Lafayette Park, and now calls Sherwood Forest home.
