B.J. Ward is the Broker and Co-Owner of Comfort Real Estate Services, Inc., a thriving, independent real estate brokerage. Comfort services all of Ventura County and parts of LA and Santa Barbara Counties.
He has lived in the gorgeous coastal region of Ventura County for the majority of his life, and he has yet to come to grips with how fortunate we are to be able to live in this community and experience the quality of life that we’re able to experience on a daily basis. This truly is paradise!
After obtaining his Broker’s license in 2004, he decided in January of 2005 to open and operate Comfort Real Estate. They started modestly, in 2005, closing nearly $10 million in real estate sales. Since that time, they have hired just over 40 amazing Realtors to be a part of the team, and they have been able to help thousands of individuals, families and corporations with all of their real estate and property management related needs. They are considered by many to be the most prominent independent real estate office in west Ventura County
In 2009, B.J. was selected as one of REALTOR® Magazine's "30 under 30". This was a tremendous honor as it attests to the success of individual agents in their specific markets. The magazine chooses just 30 agents, owners or managers under the age of 30 across the nation to feature for their achievements in the real estate field. Not only was he chosen as one of the 30, but he was selected to be one of the 5 agents for the cover. This honor was a complete testament to the loyalty of his clients and the quality of agents that make up the Comfort team.
B.J. was named the Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors (VCCAR) Broker of the Year in 2011 and served as the President of this association in 2015. Currently, as of 2022, there are numerous Comfort Realtors who serve the location association, the California Association of Realtors (CAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Volunteerism in areas within his industry and out, are a vital part of the culture that makes up Comfort Real Estate. He feels it is extremely important to serve and invest in the community.
B.J. currently resides in the city of Calabasas with my lovely wife of 15 years, Hailey, and his amazing 10-year-old daughter.
