Barbara has been selling real estate for over 30 years. Real estate has been the Browning family business as investors, developers, and investment managers for over 40 years. Now with Village Real Estate, who has a 33% market share in Davidson County, she personally handles residential and investment property sales, land/development sales, plus some remodeling for clients, when it is needed to prepare a property for the market. Her father has been a contractor/developer all her life so that part is second nature. Her sister owns a property management company which handles rental management for investor owners, therefore she has always sold many investment properties.
Barbara strongly believes in education and attends at least 4 seminars or conventions each year. She has participated in the Mike Ferry Coaching programs and training for over 15 years. She has a broker’s license and ran her own company for 25+ years plus has acquired the CRB, CRS and E-pro designations.
She went to high school in Nashville at Hillsboro, then graduated from Vanderbilt (‘78) with a degree in Fine Arts.
Oh yes, she loves to surprise people with the fact that her great-great-grandfather was Devil Anse Hatfield so she’s a direct descendant of the Hatfield clan! She says that’s where she gets her spirit……….it is irrepressible………….

For fun, Barbara loves to read and travel. She keeps her artistic juices flowing by making jewelry and painting for hobbies. She loves wine, food and cooking as well.
She has been very active in a local charity called the Nashville Wine Auction, which benefits cancer research in the Nashville area for over 20 years,
