Barbara Vance, at RE/MAX Town Centre leads a team of expert Realtors specializing in Orlando and Central Florida that includes the resort style communities surrounding Disney World, Sea World and Universal in addition to traditional residential areas such as Windermere, Dr. Phillips and Winter Garden.
With 32 years experience in residential real estate, almost entirely in the Windermere/Southwest Orlando Area, she is consistently ranked in the top 1% of Realtors in the U.S.
Her career formed it’s foundation in Developer Sales in the 1980’s when she was the on site leader in sales for a Developer & 9 Custom Home Builders in Dr. Phillips’ Orange Tree/ St. Ives. Upon selling out this community, Barbara was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing for ABD Development. In 1996, Barbara founded “Vance Realty Group,” her own highly respected Real Estate firm and grew the company by mentoring and training (what were to become) some of the area’s most successful agents. In March of 2006 with two offices and 50 agents, she successfully negotiated the sale of her company to Prudential Florida Realty.
After joining Prudential, Barbara earned the designation of Prudential Florida’s top seller in Central Florida, and has consistently ranked in the top 20 or better in the state.
Since 2011 Barbara became affiliated with RE/MAX, continuing her success as one of the area’s top Realtors. In 2012, she was featured along with international real estate guru, Kimberley Marr on the cover of “Above", the global magazine for RE/MAX.
In the Spring of 2015, Barbara qualified for the prestigious designation of RE/MAX Hall of Fame member, achieved in just under 4 years with sales volume over 40 million.
Barbara is married to Arnold Matyas, a commercial real estate broker. They have 5 children and 2 grandchildren and reside in Windermere.
