Barry Ghassemi

Barry started his real estate career as a broker in 1988 by setting up his own company, Cal Pro Properties, Inc. He successfully constructed and sold sixty-four townhomes and apartment complexes in central Orange County through his company. From 2009 through 2015, he worked for Ziprealty, during which time he bought and sold several homes in south Orange County and won many awards, including Ziprealty’s Top Producer award. In 2016, Barry returned to collaborating with his own company as a full-service brokerage firm. He is dedicated to achieving his clients’ utmost satisfaction in every real estate transaction. With his commitment, integrity, extensive real estate experience and knowledge, he supplies the best possible service to each of his clients.

Barry received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa in 1978. He continued his education at the University of Portland where he graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduating, he decided to work for a family business in which he served as the general manager of two athletic clubs, consisting of over 4,500 members total, in Kirkland, Washington. As the general manager, his responsibilities encompassed fiscal management, profitability, negotiations, sales and marketing strategies, and understanding the members’ needs to provide them with unparalleled service. From this experience, Barry developed valuable skills and a strong work ethic to achieve his goal of customer satisfaction, and he is now applying that knowledge and work ethic to his current career in real estate.

Barry has lived in Orange County since 1988. He and his wife have children. Barry was actively involved in his children’s hobbies, tennis and piano, throughout their childhood and teen years. Some of Barry’s passions include family, traveling, playing tennis, racquetball and swimming. He also enjoys watching professional basketball, football and baseball games.
