I attended Long Island University at C.W. Post where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/ Political Science and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. When I was 23, I joined the New York City Police Department where I was a Detective Sergeant and spent a majority of my career supervising the greatest detectives in the world. After 20 years of dedicated and honorable service I happily retired to Northeast Pennsylvania. While living in Pennsylvania, I trained to be a volunteer firefighter and responded to over 200 calls a year. I also started a very successful small business where I soft washed and cleaned windows for thousands of clients. If I was not busy enough, I was elected and served as Vice President of a large homeowners association with over 3200 homes. After living my entire life in the northeast, the cold, the snow, amongst other factors, I completed extensive and exhaustive research on sunny and warm Florida. Everything I learned led me to the Gulf Coast and I found my great new hometown of Venice. I feel like I'm living the dream! If you take into account my life experience, there is one common denominator. I love helping people!! I am a people person. I no longer chase bad guys with guns down dark alleys nor do I run into burning houses to help people, so I took on the endeavor of assisting you through what can be a daunting and stressful transaction.
