About Ben

Ben, a Thomasville native, recognized many years ago an opportunity existed to represent and promote the quality of land and historic properties that have come to define the Red Hills Region.

The Red Hills of South Georgia and North Florida offer access to some of the finest quail shooting in the country and consequently, the area is home to the largest concentration of traditional quail hunting plantations in the world.

Ben founded The Wright Group to cater exclusively to discerning buyers and sellers of these unique properties. In addition to his keen understanding of the area and its residents, Ben has a bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources. This insight has proved invaluable in assessing the recreational and timberland component of the properties he represents.

He is married, father to Parker and William, and is active on multiple boards and foundations in Thomasville including Landmarks, Thomas County Museum of History and the Pidcock Foundation. “Wright” is a family name from Ben’s mother, who was one of the inspirations in the formation of the company.
