Here's my background:
Upon graduating with my MBA from Seattle University, I worked for six years as a program manager with McKinstry in Seattle, where I managed teams of engineers to ensure that facilities were able to maximize technology to decrease their energy consumption.
In 2011, I combined my background in business with my passion for sustainable spaces and created BermanBuilt, a design-build residential construction company. BermanBuilt successfully integrated contemporary building practices with craftsman details; resulting in a portfolio of unique, energy efficient, and innovative projects.
My transition from building into real estate was a natural progression. Often times there is a disconnect between what clients want, and what they actually purchase. Too many clients are drawn in by fancy landscaping and flashy paint jobs—I love construction and all the physical layers that make up a house.
As a broker, my role is to utilize my extensive background in construction to find potential properties that are truly the best fit for my clients.
