About Benjamin
As a partner at The Blackstone Team, Ben embodies integrity, energy, and innovative service in every facet of his clients’ real estate journey. His early career included serving in the United States Coast Guard and upon Ben's return to New England, he helped establish one of the most successful restaurants in Providence's historic Federal Hill before making an industry leap into residential real estate.
Ben's early success in real estate can be attributed to his tall commitment to education, having been coached by several acclaimed and distinguished industry professionals. Whether it's guiding first time home buyers trying to build a foundation for their future, or assisting in a luxury market, Ben's experience and knowledge in sales and client satisfaction, combined with his understanding of the Rhode Island market and synergistic spirit make him and The Blackstone Team the ideal choice. Ben was born and raised in the Gaspee neighborhood of Warwick and attended Pilgrim High School. His family has long- standing roots in the community as well--his grandfather having owned and operated the Village Laundromat & several cleaning services in Pawtuxet Village.
Ben spent his summers on Wakefield Pond in Northern Rhode Island and there he gained an instant attachment to the wonder and beauty that each season brings to the Ocean State. Currently, Ben lives in a multi-family house in the Elmhurst neighborhood of Providence--a sound investment he believes first-time and/or millennial buyers should consider as an inaugural real estate step.
He lives with his wife Alisa, who has a background in architectural history. She is employed as a Senior Preservation Consultant with the Public Archaeology Laboratory (PAL) , specializing in state and federal historic tax credits. They are both enthusiastic members of the community and are constantly finding new ways to give back to the place they love. Outside of real estate, Ben spends his time working on a local true crime podcast (yet to be released) and trying to keep up with his rescue dogs Kirby & Katie.
