Bethanny Alexander

Bethanny has been part of the Oak Park area community since 1993 and has lived in Westchester with her family since 2004. She is a graduate of Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Elmhurst College, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in California. She has degrees in history and theatre, and worked professionally as an actor for many years. In her spare time, she enjosy entertaining family and friends, working in my garden, and traveling.

When she first became a Realtor in 2003, she anticipated real estate being a short-term job until something better came along. It didn’t take long for her to realize real estate was the better thing to come along in her life. She discovered she had the ability to make a huge impact on people’s lives by guiding them through one of life’s most important decisions – buying or selling a home. Having moved 20 times in her life, she instinctively understands the excitement and fears that come on this journey for both adults and children. She can translate her personal experiences into educating her clients and making the journey an educational and pleasurable experience. Additionally, having lived in the LaGrange and Oak Park areas, living in Westchester, and having friends and family throughout the near west suburbs, she is knowledgeable of many of the wonderful communities and is comfortable and confident working in them.

Having a background in the arts and history has created the perfect fit for working with her seller clients. To sell a home well is to tell the home’s story and help the future buyer envision that the story will continue with them in it. Bethanny is able to incorporate her story-telling skills, along with her knowledge of the local inventory, to create a competitive marketing strategy that gets her clients’ homes sold sooner and for a higher price than the local averages.

She is very proud to be a part of the Baird & Warner family when she joined them in 2011. Their Oak Park-River Forest office consistently lists and sells more homes in their core area of Oak Park, River Forest, and Forest Park, than any other local real estate company. Over 90 Realtors work out of the office offering the opportunity for terrific collaboration, and quite often, sales between colleagues.
