Betsy Martinez

Betsy is a North Carolina and South Carolina real estate broker with over 15 years of experience in residential real estate, property management and insurance. Betsy is well known for her unmatched devotion to clients by always doing what is in her client’s best interest as well as candidly coaching them through the process of each unique transaction. She strives to ensure that the home selling and buying process is as exciting and enjoyable as possible, while understanding that the process is not just about a house, it is about the quality of lifestyle that the house, neighborhood and surrounding areas bring to each individual family.

Betsy was born in New York City and grew up between NYC and Puerto Rico. She attended Drake Business School in NY where she studied Business Administration. She has called North Carolina home since 1998 where she moved in search of a better quality of life and nicer weather. Betsy now considers herself a little bit Yankee and a little bit Y’all. Betsy is fluent in English and Spanish.

Some of Betsy’s unique skills are her ability to work with a diverse clientele and the ability to anticipate potential challenges within the home buying process and coming up with strategies to prevent those. She is very aware of what the right mindset brings to the real estate transaction and is committed to providing superior value to her clients. Betsy has vast knowledge in mortgage programs, homeowner’s insurance policies, home inspections and the closing process which allows her to educate and better service her clients.

Betsy currently resides in Waxhaw, NC with her daughter and their Morkie puppy. She has an older son who resides in Charlotte as well. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, writing, yoga, music, dancing, healthy foods and the beautiful trails that surround the Queen City.
