About Bill

Bill Bensten has over forty years of real estate experience. He is the co-founder of Merion Companies and directs its full range of real estate investment activities. Since its inception in 2006, The Merion Group has focused on high yielding real estate acquisitions for its own portfolio as well as for others.

Prior to founding The Merion Group, Bill was an executive with Comstock Homebuilding, Inc., a publicly traded homebuilder, for over 11 years. Bill had many roles within his tenure including SVP of Product and Business Development, SVP of Land Acquisition and President of the multifamily / high-rise division. Under Bills management, Comstock's revenues went from approximately $20 million to over $300 million on an annual basis.

Prior to Comstock, Bill was a division president of Centex Homes, a national homebuilder. During Bill's seven-year tenure at Centex, he was responsible for the opening of the Palm Beach Region de novo as well as the restructuring of the Washington, DC region.
