Hi, My wife and I decided a long time ago that we wanted to build our dream home with a swimming pool in the back yard when the time was right. We had worked on our current home for a decade, upgrading and remodeling. It was our hobby and we enjoyed it. For 3 ~ 4 years prior to selling it, we had talked with several local relators in the Louisville Ky market and it just never felt right . We were told that we could possibly get $350~$369 top dollar. Some realtors said ; we might be able to get clients in and we might not because, our house was not the typical Louisville cookie cutter. It was uniquely different, even with a lap pool built in the house. When the market started to turn a sellers market in 2016, we knew it was time to sell. In my 70 years I have bought one house and had never sold one. It turned out to be my responsibility to sell my Mother's house. She wanted to call Bob Sokoler because she listened to him on radio. I called and they were wonderful to us. Any time I called they were always there for me. If they didn't answer when I called it was just a short time before they called me back. If they didn't know the answer to my question (and I had many) they would find out and call me back. I never had to worry about anything, they took care of everything for me. At closing, Lisa was there to help me and make me feel comfortable with everything. I only worked with Bob and Lisa but they were always there for me. After my first meeting with Bob at the house, everything was done on the computer and I never had to meet with them for anything till the house sold and we went for closing. I met Bob when I looked at a condo he was listing. I liked him and chose him to be my realtor. My expectations were that he would find me an FHA approved condo in my price range. He did a great job meeting my expections which isn't all that easy. It can be hard to find FHA approved condos. With his help I was able to find one very quickly. Bob impressed me with his knowledge of Louisville, condos and FHA. He helped me with everything. He did not try to pressure me into buying something that wasn't right for me. He was available to take my calls when I was worried about something after I had signed the contract and was waiting for closing. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone looking for a home. Bob Sokoler and his team did a great job finding my wife and I a home in Louisville, KY in mid 2014. The task was not easy. We were living in Wilmington, Delaware and much of our house searching was done on-line using Bob's applications and advice. This was our first time selling a home, but we are familiar with how stressful the process can be since our cousin is a realtor. With his recommendation, we met with Bob Sokoler and we couldn't have been more impressed. We found the Sokoloer team online and took our chances since we didn't know any realtors in town when we moved here. We were 100% satisfied! The team is extremely friendly, responds quickly, very thorough in all their dealings and knew their stuff. They were very patiently persistent when I first contacted them online. We had access right away to the listings online and were able to search on our own. We got follow up emails on a regular basis since we didn't begin looking at actual houses for several months because we were in apartment and knew we wouldn't be able to move right away. The first day we saw houses, we found our home. We quickly learned that another offer was on the table for the house. On Greg's recommendation we wrote a personal letter to the sellers to go along with our offer and that made the difference. The sellers accepted our offer. Any company we worked with that was recommended by Greg was top notch. We spoke with the broker at Century Mortgage on a Sunday afternoon (and it was MLK weekend) and within an hour, we were pre-approved and able to make our offer. Jim Simms at Century went above and beyond for us throughout the underwriting process. With the 2 major snow storms that we got this winter, underwriting got backed up and therefore our closing was delayed. But all along the way, Jim, Greg and Noreen were extremely helpful in dealing with all the paperwork and delays. The home inspection company was great too. We can't say enough good things about the whole process with Sokoler Realtors. We highly recommend them! While any home buying experience can be frustrating, it was a pleasure to work with the Sokoler team.

I called Bob to have him show me a property he was listing when I first started looking for a condo. I liked him a lot and decided to work with him. My expectations were to find an FHA approved Condo in my price range. Bob did an excellent job of meeting these expectations which I learned after starting the process that it's not that easy to fine FHA approved Condos. Bob was nice, concerned, knowledgeable. Cared about what was important to me. Didn't try to pressure me into buying something that wasn't right for me. I would highly recommend Bob. He was easy to work with.
