About Bobby

Bobby is a native of Greene County, North Carolina. After earning a BS in Mathematics at UNC Chapel Hill and living and working for four years in Charlotte, he and his wife, Lou, set their sights on Wilmington. They recognized that Wilmington would be a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Bobby landed a job at UNC Wilmington in 1978 as a computer programmer. He and Lou have not looked back since. Experiencing the transition of UNCW and the Wilmington area into thriving and desirable destinations to learn, work, and play has been nothing less than awesome. Bobby’s career at UNCW culminated in 2010 when he retired from his position as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology. That same year he was inducted into The Order of the Long Leaf Pine in recognition for his service to the state of North Carolina.

Shortly after retiring Bobby began to consider a new career and real estate caught his eye. Bobby felt that his technology skills and experiences could easily transition into the real estate profession by paying attention to detail and applying training, common sense and logic to assist clients/customers in meeting their goals and objectives.

Bobby is extremely excited to be a part of the real estate profession; especially with the local market leader, Intracoastal Realty.
