Bobby Roberts, the longtime owner of the Rusty Nail, has joined Mountain Associates Realtors. Since selling the Rusty Nail in 2005 Bobby has been busy designing and building custom-spec homes in the Stowe area while continuing an active role in local charities. Roberts who graduated from Stowe high school and attended Champlain College and the University of Vermont started his career at the famed Baggy knees. After a short stint as a ski company demo rep, he settled into life at the Rusty Nail. While at the Nail, Bobby turned the one-time local bar into one of the best-known nightclubs in the northeast. Always known as a concernment promoter, he brought Stowe such great acts as Bo Diddley, Tito Jackson, Littlefeet, Vanilla Ice, and jimmy cliff just to name a few. As a member of Mountain Associates Roberts hopes that his unique marketing skills along with his legendary work ethic will give his real estate clients a completive advantage in buying or selling properties. Asked why Roberts chose Mountain Associates, Bobby replied, in the world of mega- realtors I wanted to work in a small office that could give our clients one on one personal service.
