Brett is a Fourth Generation Alaskan that grew up commercial fishing in the islands of Southeast Alaska. After September 11th he joined the U.S. Army, and spent 10 years serving in the Army, flying Blackhawk Helicopters, and working as a Maintenance Test Pilot. It was an awesome experience, but after multiple deployments, his wife and he decided to settle down and raise their family in Fairbanks Alaska.
