BRIAN MURPHY

Brian founded Tremont Realty Advisors after being a commercial broker for 15 years. Prior to founding Tremont, he was a Senior Vice President at Smith Mack, where he was consistently one of the firms top producing brokers and handled some of the most complex transactions done by the firm. At Smith Mack, he lead the firms investment sales activity, negotiating a variety of investment sales, development site sales, development joint ventures and debt financing for institutional, public and private real estate users and investors.
In addition to his tenure at Smith Mack, Brian acted as Chief Investment and Acquisition Principal for a real estate investment company affiliated with one of his clients, Carlino Development Group. In this role, he sought out, reviewed and underwrote potential acquisitions for the group. He also worked to line up outside equity investors, mezzanine and debt financing for the potential acquisitions. Under Brian’s guidance, the group pursued investment opportunities from Northern New Jersey to Southern Florida .
Throughout his career, he has negotiated several hundred lease, sale and financing transactions involving close to 2,000,000 square feet of space with a transaction volume estimated at over $400,000,000. Brian has acted as exclusive leasing broker for over 2,000,000 square feet. His broad knowledge of and experience with the markets, leasing, investment sales as well as debt and equity financing help to make him one of the most successful re al estate professionals in the region.

Brian lives in Upper Providence , Delaware County with his wife and two children.
