Plus, he’s patient, and never made us feel like we were a bother, not in the least, no matter how many “silly” questions we asked. Brian has always been excellent at pricing my properties to drive interest and offers. Selling an urban condo in Minneapolis right now is a challenge even in this hot sellers market. Brian leveraged all of his resources to give our condo the exposure it needed to find the right buyer in this tougher urban condo market. At the end of the day we got our asking price and a timely close due to his efforts.

Brian was such a pleasure to work with, both as buyers and sellers. He helped us find the perfect home when we moved to the Twin Cities in 2017. Brian is an excellent listener, clear communicator and gets things done in a no-nonsense, professional way. When it was time for us to move at the end of 2020, he sold our home at above asking price in less than 2 days. (Average time on the market in this price bracket was 2-3 months.) I've worked with nearly a dozen residential real estate brokers in the last ten years, and Brian is the best, hands down. Highly, highly recommended.

Working as a home inspector for 30 some years I got to know a lot of real estate agents and observe them at work. Many were good and some not so good but when it came time to buy a home myself there was no question about who I wanted to work with and that was Brian. He is friendly, knowledgeable and professional and never pushy like some other agents I have observed. He always gives straight answers to questions and was infinitely patient with us in our long search for the perfect house. When we finally found that house he was able to put together our purchase agreement virtually and we had the offer in within hours. Following the home inspection the listing agent was unable to find a plumber to fix a significant bathtub leak before closing so Brian stepped up and took care of that for him. I cannot imagine anyone having a bad experience working with Brian and would highly recommend him to all.

Brian was our broker on the purchase of our first home and recently our realtor for our second home sale and purchase. Brian is the BFF you want in your court during the home buying process. He's respectful, attentive, intuitive, and oh so knowledgeable. We experienced SO MANY ISSUES with this selling/buying experience (none were our fault: we had a series of flaky buyers and COVID-19 against us) and Brian sherpa'd us through all the complications with peace of mind. Most of all, he's fair and treats everyone he meets with dignity and respect. There's a lot of pushy, a**hole agents out there who will burn bridges and ruin negotiations for you and Brian is definitely not that. He will always be our agent! Even if he tries to retire. No way. We won't let him.

There were houses where we wouldn’t even finish the tour because he knew the house would not be a wise investment for me. I knew 10 years ago when real estate agent Brian Severts told me not to sell my home in a down market (thereby loosing the chance of a commission) that his man had integrity. That's why Brian was my choice as an agent when it became time to sell my home of 34 years.

The normal stress of selling a house was greatly intensified by the sudden unexpected arrival of a wold wide viral pandemic. Brian guided me through the complexity of this highly anxious time. He never failed to listen respectfully and respond appropriately to my concerns. Brian's vast experience and steady confidence were calming and supportive during this transition.
