About Brien
Brien is a third-generation Appliance Expert and a Certified Master Technician, only one of two in the entire Midwest region. Brien was born into the industry with his father and mother opening an appliance business when he was 11 years old. Every day after school, evenings, weekends, and during the summertime Brien was right there beside his father learning about this ever-changing industry and understanding self-employment. This shows how persistent Brien is when he is dedicated to helping others. After the passing of his father, Brien continued his legacy and has now been an entrepreneur for over 35 years. This has come with operating The Appliance Care Company, which is the largest in-home appliance service company in Kansas City with a very strong and aggressive retail appliance sales business. To this day Brien Pippen is still hands on in the appliance industry. Brien has processed hundreds of thousands of appliances in his lifetime. Despite all his success, he still enjoys knocking on customer’s doors. His friendly and outgoing personality helps customers feel at ease in their time of panic.
Brien Pippen doesn’t have a great deal of downtime in his schedule but when he does he spends time with his family and is a pilot who enjoys flying general aviation aircraft. He is also a certified scuba diver. For the past 5 years, Brien is the real estate and appliance expert on the Tobin Family radio show here in Kansas City, Missouri, broadcasting on Saturday mornings. Brien’s knowledge of mechanical and construction is a huge asset to the real estate industry and his clients.
“Ever since I was a child, I have always had an extreme curiosity about how things work. I started in life working with my hands, and I learned every aspect of residential housing. Beginning as an appliance technician allowed me to learn all aspects of electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, and structural design and repair of customer's homes. So, as I continued to grow my skills it seemed a natural fit for me to offer my skills to all of my customers. As I acquired several investment properties, I always loved the thrill of a sale or a purchase. After several of these transactions, I fell in love with the real estate industry, and I jumped in with both feet obtaining my real estate license in the early 2000’s.”
