Brook Walsh

Born and raised in Northern Michigan, Brook earned a Bachelors Degree in Political Science (computer science cognate) and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Michigan State University.

For the last twenty years, Brook was a results-driven information technology executive with experience leading multi-million dollar revenue and growth initiatives grounded solidly on business and economic value. His last corporate role was that of a Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer with a $9B financial services firm.

Brook is a data-savvy lifestyle real estate investment advisor. He focuses on lifestyle properties as most people want a vacation home to make lifelong memories that endure for their entire family, leave a profound legacy for generations, and a solid financial investment at the same time.

Brook also founded Northern Michigan Escapes which provides real estate, property management, and rental management services to assist its clients through the life cycle of home ownership which starts with a purchase, includes improving and maintaining the property and then ends in the sale of it.

Prior, for the last twenty years, Brook was a results-driven information technology executive with expertise envisioning and leading technology-based, multi-million dollar revenue and growth initiatives grounded solidly on business and economic value. He had a fast-track management career marked by a demonstrated ability to build peak-performing teams and achieve cross-functional business objectives.

Brook has been a featured speaker at several technology conferences and in 2010 was recognized by CRN Magazine’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) 40: IT Executive Leaders You Should Know. In 2011, the information technology department he led in the corporate world was an InformationWeek 500 Award Recipient (ranked #20) for its ability to leverage technology to transform the business.

Brook lives in Northern Michigan with his amazing wife and their three fantastic children and he's a die-hard sports fan for primarily high school and college sports with a particular bias toward everything MSU!
