Bruce grew up in Lake Chelan and graduated from Chelan in 1979. He went on to graduate from WSU in 1983 with a degree in Business; specializing in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Thereafter he spent 20 years in California working in Hotel & Restaurant operations, including Marriott, Hyatt, Radisson and MiniBar America.
In 1999 he became a licensed Real Estate Broker in the San Francisco Bay area. His partner at the time was a top real estate producer and brought him onto his team. Bruce help develop an number of creative ideas to boost the marking edge of their team listings. This included introducing staging, custom high resolution glossy brochures, use of professional photography as well as web sites for each listings.
During that time Bruce was also featured in the front business page of The Wall Street Journal and on CNet TV for real estate inovations, including installing one of the first car computers, along with a modem and printer.
Bruce’s relocation back to his home town of Chelan was in 2016, catalyzed by a desire to return to a slower pace, have more time to enjoy outdoor lifestyle activities and to care for his aging parents. Bruce enjoys taking advantage of the many extracurricular pursuits readily accessible here, including cross-country skiing, golfing, biking, and getting on the lake. He is grateful to live in such a beautiful area that offers much, including a cohesive sense of community.
