About Bruce

I have lived in the Bloomsburg / Danville area since 1962.
Bloomsburg, as a college town, has a certain “spunk” that most of the area here does not. Bloomsburg University always has a lecture, or recital, or ball game or something going on. Plus we have a full time professional theatre company here.

Plus lots of “mom and pop” restaurants and most of the major chains. Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Applebee's, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday, etc.

We have Geisinger Medical Center 8 miles away in Danville PA. It is a world class medical facility. www.geisinger.org

We have very low taxes. No crime to speak of. No traffic. It is clean, pretty, and friendly. But if you want to, 2.5 hours to Philadelphia or New York City on Rt. 80 is an easy car ride. We like to travel and have airports in Harrisburg, Wilkes-Barre, Newark, Philadelphia, Newark, and JFK as choices.

Can you tell that I like it here? I am 67 years old, moved here from Bucks County 54 years ago and really starting to like the area!
