About Bruce

I am new to Real Estate and looking forward to my new career! I am retired from medicine after 35 years as a foot & ankle surgeon. My wife Robyn and I moved to the Asheville area in November 2017. We both decided not to retire. Robyn is a psychologist who also practices energy healing. I currently teach Anatomy & Physiology at ABTech (a great local community college) to students wanting to begin a career in the medical field. My plan is to transition out of teaching as I develop my real estate practice. Robyn and I are both very active outdoors. We enjoy running (several half marathons under our running shoes, hiking, kayaking, biking, scuba diving, and travel. I personally enjoy woodworking where I build simple cutting boards all the way up to furniture from my own designs. On nice days you might find me on the Blue Ridge Parkway on my small Yamaha 250 motorcycle seeing the sites or investigating the neighborhoods of the greater Asheville area
